Myanmar Tourism Federation (MTF), founded in April 2011 with the blessing from the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, is a major private sector organization with nine affiliated tourism associations and individual tourism members. The associations include Myanmar Hotelier Association (MHA), Union of Myanmar Travel Association (UMTA), Myanmar Tourism Marketing Association (MTM), Myanmar Tourism Transportation Association (MTTA), Myanmar Domestic Pilgrimage & Tour Operator Association (DPTOA), Myanmar Tourism Human Resources Development Association (MTHRDA), Myanmar Exhibition, Event & Convention Association (MEECA), Myanmar Arts and Crafts Association (MACA), and Myanmar Hospitality Professionals Association (MHPA). MTF is a member of PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) and of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI).
